Writing
Well, I am, therefore I write. I’ve written creatively for more years than I care to mention. I started, as one does, writing very, very bad fiction, including original and fanfic. However, you have to stumble before you walk, then stagger before you can run. As they say. Or they would about my writing.
Daisy Donnie is the major storyline I’ve been working on over the last few years, but I do dabble in other things. Take a look at the writing category for what’s happening!
Photography
Over the last 12 months, I’ve photographed theĀ Celebration of Love event in Mullumbimby, NSW (which featured a performance by Deva Premal and Miten), the Zombie Shuffle in Melbourne and most recently the opening of the Melbourne Fringe Festival exhibition Memory: Beyond the Mind, which was sponsored by Multicultural Arts Victoria and City of Melbourne among others.
These photographs can be viewed through the gallery page.
I’ve had an interest in photography since my teens when I learned photography on a 1979 Konika SLR camera, and am currently photographing using a Canon DSLR. I have a preference for what I call “stealth” photography, taking shots of people in group situations while they’re behaving naturally and not posing for the camera.
I’m now planning an exhibition of works profiling GLBTI people who include Ritual in their lives.
