Family values is whatever the Bible-pounding hate-shouter wants it to be at the minute. Whatever it takes so that they can denounce anyone who does not live the way they believe people ought to be requried to live. You’re plenty bright; maybe not aggressively tolerant enough but plenty bright.

Well, Ping allegedly does work, but it only gives the post title and a link to the post via ping.fm. What I’m after is something a little more verbose — especially in the case of smell of love, as they have images to accompany the posts.

It’s all rather naff really

And I’ve got the blogs hooking into FB with the Share button plugin; but as I say, it only works on personal profiles.

I haven’t tried to do this. I have my blog hooked up to my profile and Facebook’s ‘Notes’ application. It’s not great, but it’s a’ight.

Let us know if you do find a good way to do this. So far I’ve avoided make and using pages because I haven’t seen the point of them.

Hi Justin,

thanks for the complement on the article.

When I say “Convert the whole thing to Pages” I mean do a RH-Click (Ctrl click if you like) on the document and select Open With, then select Pages (if you have it installed). Pages is in Apple’s iWork suite of software (a new version is out now) and is a quite good alternative to the pain of MS word.

Then you can work on the document and if you *absolutely* need to, export to Word, or for preference (that’s my preference as I don’t like MS Word) keep working in Pages.

great article, but im still a little confused myself? what do you mean when you say convert to pages? can you help me with this? have a word doc that im trying to save as a word doc and getting the same error (You cannot save a template file to non-template format)
