Hello, We are constantly bombarded with emails from your company. Please please can you remove us from your mailing address. Our email address is: customerservice@XXXXXX.com. Many thanks and I look forward to receiving confirmation my request has been accepted. Many thanks, Michelle
Unfortunately you’re not being spammed by me. You’re being spammed by someone else who has changed their email address to make it look like it’s from me.
If you look at the raw data from the message (You can do this in most programmes with View > Raw source), you’ll see that the originating email address, which is distinct from what you actually see, will be different.

It is stupidly difficult to prevent spammers from harvesting email addresses. Just mind-bogglingly so. Basically if you’re online your address can be harvested.
